Hi all,
I logged-on today to find the link to the blog had broken. From the home page navigation bar, the ‘FrImp Blog’ link was pointing to http://www.frimp.co.uk/blog/ as it should have done. But the page being returned was http://www.frimp.co.uk/frimp.co.uk/blog/ which does not exist. What was going on?
I am toying with a new community software (open source) from Vanilla, which in my humble opinion is very cool. I have not ‘tarted’ it up yet except for one additional module I installed from the vanilla community.
The page is called FRIMP WORLD.
Scott McCloud hits the nail on the head with micro payments. But how do you charge 1p on the web? I am pretty certain you can’t at the moment. There are lots of really useful sites I would gladly pay 1p a month to.

FrImp.co.uk is currently looking for musicians with rare/deleted/hard-to-come-by or previously unreleased recordings/video that they would like to sell/give away through the site. Ideally these would be recordings that have either been self released of that have no tie to a record label (other than that of the artist). Maybe a short run of CD-Rs that you only have a few remaining copies of or some live recordings that have never been considered for release due to expense - remember, we can be accessed all over the world, so if you have an audience, chances are someone will want to hear your music and maybe even pay you for it!
